The Divine Dwarka & Somnath Trail

Day 1: Arrival in Dwarka & Local Sightseeing

After arriving in Dwarka by train or via the beautiful routes of Jamnagar and Rajkot, settle into your hotel and refresh for the journey ahead. Your spiritual exploration begins at the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Experience the powerful energy of the Evening Aarti, then cross the Sudama Setu suspension bridge for a bird's-eye view of the city lights reflecting on the water. Accomplish your evening with a visit to the Gomti Ghat where devotees take a holy dip. Explore the nearby small  temples and a serene sunset walk at Dwarka Beach, perhaps stopping to sample some authentic Gujarati snacks from a local vendor before returning to your hotel.

Day 2: Dwarka Sightseeing & Bet Dwarka Excursion

Start early your day with a visit to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, then head to the beautiful Rukmini Devi Temple. After breakfast, proceed towards Bet Dwarka, believed to be Lord Krishna’s original residence, where you will take a short ferry ride from Okha port. On your return journey, stop at Gopi Talav, associated with Krishna and the Gopis, and reach Dwarka by evening for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Dwarka to Somnath Transfer & Temple Visit

Start your day early with a spiritual visit to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Next, visit the architecturally stunning Rukmini Devi Temple. After a hearty breakfast, proceed toward Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna. You’ll enjoy a scenic ferry ride from Okha Port to reach the island. On your return, pause at Gopi Talav, the sacred lake associated with the legends of Krishna and the Gopis, before arriving back in Dwarka by evening for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4: Somnath Sightseeing

Begin your final day with a soul-stirring Morning Darshan at the Somnath Temple, the first of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas. Afterward, visit the Triveni Sangam, the holy confluence of the Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati rivers, where devotees seek peace and spiritual cleansing. Continue to Bhalka Tirth, the sacred grove where Lord Krishna is believed to have concluded his earthly journey and ascended to his divine abode. After a morning of deep reflection and sightseeing, proceed with your departure toward Diu, Rajkot, or Ahmedabad, carrying the blessings of this spiritual pilgrimage with you.
