Travelers have several options for reaching Sajek Valley from Dhaka, typically starting with a journey by road.
Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Day 3: Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar
Day 4: Mahabaleshwar to Lonavala & Khandala
Day 5: Lonavala / Khandala to Alibaug
Day 6: Alibaug to Mumbai Departure
Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai & City Exploration
rrive in Mumbai and check into your hotel. After some rest, step out to visit the famous Gateway of India, a beautiful landmark by the sea known for its lively atmosphere and stunning views. Take a walk through Colaba Causeway and enjoy the lively streets filled with cafés, local shops, and everyday Mumbai charm. Later, visit Marine Drive and relax by the sea as the city lights begin to glow beautifully after sunset. Visit Girgaon Chowpatty Beach and enjoy popular local snacks like bhel puri or pav bhaji while relaxing by the sea. In the evening, experience Mumbai’s lively atmosphere before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then visit the Siddhivinayak Temple, always busy and full of visitors. Then visit to Haji Ali Dargah, this mosque looks spectacular, sitting right on the water, and you reach it by walk. Take a drive to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which gives you beautiful views of the skyline and sea. Spend the day exploring Bandra and its lively streets filled with cafés, small shops, and beautiful seaside views. Later, visit Juhu Beach, enjoy the sunset, and taste some popular Mumbai snacks before going back to your hotel for a relaxing night.
Day 3: Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar
After breakfast, hit the road to Mahabaleshwar. Watch the city streets fade into winding mountain roads—everything feels fresh, with lush forests and strawberry farms lining the route. When you arrive, check in and take it easy in the hill station’s cooler climate. Head out to spots like Arthur Seat Point, Elephant Head Point, Kate’s Point, and Wilson Point—they all offer amazing views over deep valleys and green peaks. Stop by Venna Lake and either go for a quick boat ride or just sit by the water. In the evening, browse the local market. You’ll find strawberries straight from the farm, handmade chocolates, and all kinds of regional snacks. Dinner and a cozy stay wrap up the night.
Day 4: Mahabaleshwar to Lonavala & Khandala
Eat breakfast, then set off for Lonavala and Khandala—the famous twin hill stations. The drive is lovely, with misty hills and waterfalls especially during monsoon. Check into your hotel and start visiting spots like Bhushi Dam, Tiger Point, Lion’s Point, and Rajmachi View Point. All of them deliver sweeping hill views and cool breezes. Try some chikki at one of the local shops—it’s a sweet that Lonavala’s known for. If it’s rainy season or winter, waterfalls appear everywhere, and clouds drift along the hills. Spend the evening just absorbing the peaceful mountain vibe before turning in.
Day 5: Lonavala Khandala to Alibaug
After breakfast, head to Alibaug, a relaxed beach town with a chilled-out atmosphere and pretty coastline. Once you check in at your hotel, unwind or stroll to Alibaug Beach. Walk along the shore, catch a sunset, and try a few beachside activities. Don’t miss Kolaba Fort, which is just offshore and easy to reach when the tide’s low. You can also explore other beaches like Varsoli or Nagaon if you’re in the mood for water sports or just want more quiet spots. Grab some fresh seafood at a local café, let the sound of the waves wrap up your day, and settle in for one last overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure
One last breakfast by the sea, then check out and start your trip back to Mumbai. The drive gives you more coastal views, so soak them in. That’s a wrap. You head back with a camera full of photos and memories
