Day 1: Arrival and Aizawl Heights

After arriving at Lengpui Airport, enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Aizawl city. Once you’ve checked in and freshened up, head to Durtlang Hills for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the capital stretching across the hills. Spend your evening at Solomon’s Temple, a magnificent white marble structure and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. End your day with dinner at a local café, where you can try Bai (a traditional vegetable stew) or Sawhchiar.
Day 2: Reiek Peak and Heritage

Spend your second day exploring Reiek, situated roughly 30 km from Aizawl. Your first stop should be the Heritage Village, where reconstructed traditional homes offer a fascinating look into the distinct cultures of the region's diverse sub-tribes. After this, take the fairly easy 30-minute walk up to Reiek peak. If the weather is clear, from the top you can see in every direction< with views reaching all the way to the plains of Bangladesh. After watching the sunset from the hills, head back to Aizawl, spend your evening at the busy Bara Bazar to find beautiful handmade cloths or unique bamboo gifts to take home.
Day 3:Southern Mist & Waterfalls

Travel south towards Hamslinggang, located at an altitude of over 1,600 meters. This peaceful area is known for its wide grassy meadows and dense, untouched forests, making it perfect for nature lovers and short walks. If time allows, continue further to visit the stunning Vantawng Falls, the highest waterfall in Mizoram, hidden deep within bamboo forests. On your way back, stop at Falcon Village, where you can see a life-sized model of a traditional Mizo village and learn about the local culture, lifestyle, and folklore.

Day 4: Culture and Departure

On your final morning, visit the Mizoram State Museum at Macdonald Hill to explore its collection of traditional clothing, tools, and historical items that reflect the rich local culture. You can also enjoy the calm surroundings and scenic views of Aizawl from this area. If you have some extra time before your flight, take a short walk to KV Paradise, a peaceful and beautifully designed monument built in memory of a loved one. Finally, head to Lengpui Airport for your journey back home, carrying unforgettable memories of Mizoram’s serene beauty.
